Europe travels

My first day in England was a blast not only the fashion but the history. My family and i went to Kensington palace and to say it was amazing would be a understatement. There is a princess exhibit and a total of 7 princess lived there ,Diana,Mary 2,Margret, Caroline!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(a scholar),Charlotte, Anne, and Victoria, They had dresses both princess Margret and Princess Diana wore i must say both ladies/dresses were beautiful and had impeccable style as well as class. Around every corner was another surprise and if you have half a chance to go please do it was a life changing experience. As far as London's clothing it is about the same as New york where people wear whatever they want wherever they want. But i do have to comment about how i saw not one man or boy wearing their pants on the ground or their hats turned sideways it was refreshing to say the least and i feel like i am going to be ober disappointed when i return to the states where i will still find the male species still dressing like cavemen.

i am almost there.......right now i am sitting in the airport red carpet lounge glancing around and eating these awesome crackers. at 7:00, i will be on my way to berlin, germany and poland. (we r making a connection flight to london first)

i will try to blog as soon as i can at the hotel tonight, so i can report my fashion sight.

today around fourish i left on my adventure to Europe and i am already in heaven. My first stop is to London England and i haven't even boarded yet but i already am amazed by euro style (the last time i was here i was too young to appreciate fashion) but as i am in the gate to board what do i see but the flight attendants uniform a red tailored blazer with red tailored mini plus black tights with red pumps and on top of it all a red hat but totally fashionable. i have already made up my mind i am living in England for the rest of my life.

Most of us Americans are so limited in style they literally think the limited is the only store out there, just today i was looking at italian cloths and can i just say i am blessed to have family in a place as romantic as this who i am visiting as of tommorw !!!!! So in a few short hours i will be on a plane to london from there to paris and from there to italy. it is ureal and i will have the joy of posting to you from those amazing places.

i am going to paris this summer and to say i am excited is a understatement. enthraled sounds better, so since i am going there i wanted to get the scoup of whats in right now. it turns out that france is taking two routes to summer style. One lots of black and nude colors (more for men),and two, florals and large hats. Time to go shopping !!!

Shoe of the Week

For this week, i searched all over for a perfect and crazy shoe. The designer, Alexander McQueen, is seriously crazy. I mean, does he want to make our feet suffer all day? or does he just hate woman??

I really don't understand how the model could walk the runway in these shoes. You are literally walking on your tip toes!!!!!! I probably would scream and quit my job.

ok so i had a sleepover last night and well i am still in my PJ's and unless my mother makes me leave the house i will not change from my Yankees jersey or softy shorts.

As i found out from Caroline and other sources, FOREVER 21 might be taking the place of the closed Filenes/Halloween costume store. (as big as macys and across from the food court)

my question is.......what will be in the Forever 21 store after it closes??

Another store opening up in the mall is WET SEAL. I dont know where and when , but i do know that it will be in the mall by next year. I copied the next paragraph from the mall website, all about wet seal and getting a job there!!!

Before i start off, i would like to congratulate our class for making it through the year of 6th grade!!!!!!! (round of applause) WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the last day of school, i wore a dress from Bloomingdales(Un Deux Trois brand). It was my sisters 8th grade graduation so we all had to be kind of fancy.

I've had so much fun posting this "lust month of June," (my friends Max and Taylor) that I over-posted and am done for the month... how sad :(!!! Now, I knooooooooow that you all will miss me *sarcastically, of course* and I will miss posting. Also, I won't be able to post a lot in July, 'cause I have two weeks of sleep-away camp. Then my family is going for three weeks to Europe, so... On August 5th you can begin to expect regular posts.

New Designer Stores

MICHAEL KORS IN DANBURY MALL

Ok, I just found out that there is a Michael Kors opening up in the Danbury Mall near Banana Republic!!!!! The mall says the customers have been requesting the store for a long time and they think that they will stay open for a long period of time because of his designs!!

Check out some facts about Michael Kors Stores in Danbury and all over the country:

• The Michael Kors label was created in 1981.
• Complements to the Michael Kors store at Danbury Fair mall include J. Crew, Banana Republic, Coach, Metropark, and Williams-Sonoma.
• The Lord & Taylor and Macy's stores at Danbury Fair mall also carry Michael Kors products including shoes, handbags and women's apparel.

Have you ever heard of Audrey Hepburn ? if you said no to this question you must live under a rock for she is one of the greatest style icons EVER ! so go check her out some of her movies are Charade (my favourite movie! besides Troy) Breakfast at Tiffany's ,my fair lady ,war and peace,African Queen,and roman holiday to name a few if you have not seen these movies you have to ! She is a beautiful lady with tons of style plus my role model. Just the way she talks brings tears to my eyes her voice is like one you have never heard before. Some of her most iconic looks were the little black dress,the 60s skirt plus belt and her boyish haircut.

Who has heard of Alexander McQueen?

Are ya crazy? Of course you have! He's one of the best designers of our history!!

Here's a bit about him:

The world cried when the great Alexander McQueen was found dead on February 11th, 2010. He hung himself, and left explanatory notes for close friends. Unfortunately for him (he had a great life) and us (he had amazing fashion) he is no longer with us, so we are attempting to honor him. Here are some of his best creations: (above the post)

Okay, so, have any of you heard of "Freegans?" I'll explain:
Freegans are a rather intriguing group of people who believe that we have a very wasteful society. So, they live off of the waste. Sounds pretty gross, right? Well, it is, but you'll just have to deal with that. ;) Anyway, the find abandoned houses to live in (or none at all), dumpster dive, and even eat roadkill. Well, it's not exactly my type of lifestyle... but you've gotta admit its pretty eye-catching, right? Hmmmm... well I think so!
