Fashion ,as you know is a form of art but lets not forget about its sisters and brothers, for instance food. food is art whether you appreciate it or not and i know most people don't see food and fashion in the same realm because of anorexic models. Although they are similar. So instead of gobbling down your next meal slow down and eat it as though you were looking at fashion. Enjoy it,take your time and analyse it, form opinions and share it with others.

What Hannah is Wearing Today/80s Party

Thanks for the tips Jordan! Also, are you doing anything today? I'm just going to the Library at 2:00 pm. Maybe you can come? We can do a little research, if you know what I mean... about fashion topics and trends, of course! Call me about that.
Anyway, today I am wearing a Cherrokee white dress, Miss Bisou flats, Red beret from Paris (my gift from Caroline) and a touch of Icing red lipstick, carrying a bag from United Colors of Benetton in Venice, Italy. Took some cute pics of my outfit today, but struggled in the uploading process... aw, man! Anywho, I was crusing through some pictures on my camera that my mom borrowed for her friend's party. It was 80s themed. *Gulp.* Needless to say, I saw some horrific outfits. My mother herself wore a shirt she made herself... not really a DIY type... she wrote RELAX in huge letters on the front (glitter paint), atop a neon orange sugarlips, a jean skirt, knee length, tights, high black fringe boots, hair in ponytails popping from the top of her head, and bright pink clip on earrings.
Oh, joy. Well, at least she was festive, no?! But-- and there's the big but-- I noticed Breakfast Club posters everywhere! How delightful! My mother does love that movie... surprisingly, myself being a movie lover, having yet to see it! I will rent it from Blockbuster, soon enough. Till next time!

Now when most people think of hand me downs they think of a old pair of jeans courtesy of your older sister. Now hold on ,wait a minute .................. why do hand me downs have to be such a bad thing ? when in fact ,all you fashioinistas out there strive to be different ,to not blend with the crowd right? well i know none else will have shoes from your mom or a vintage pin from your grandma, hence a statement. Now coming from a family with two brothers i don't get hand me downs so you might question this post coming from me , you might ask "well she doesn't even have to wear hand me downs , she's lucky" well no actually i am jealous. a pair of jeans from a friend or a family member with tons of memories in them is more significant then brand new ones (which are great to make memories on ,yourself). Don't get me wrong i love new things but i love old things too.

I know you guys were looking forward to me baking cookies,but i apparently forgot to tell everyone that i am spending the next week poolside in cape cod(DON'T WORRY I AM COMING BACK ON FRIDAY). But since school starts on Wednesday i will have O time for back to school shopping ,so trying to fix this problem my mother and i sought out the nearest mall ,where frankly i mega scored, there was a American eagle store where i bought a Adirondack cardigan , later i bought Ralph Lauren socks , a Derrick and Heart plaid shirt and denim shirt dress. i still have to go to the local mall and get doc martins but its a start.

About the cupcakes, they take about a day 2 get hard, so that means we would have to meet again the next day........we could do that or just find another easy but unique cupcake recipe......so search online (go to martha stewart's website for cupcakes cause we have her cookbook)

1. Jo, glad your back! You BETTA post like a mad woman!!! Also I posted the cute pics from Sephora and the Mall. Also my mom has work and the twinnys have camp so we should all do something on Monday. Not tomorrow because my family is going to the Brookfield Country Fair, and then a family friend's house in the evening/night. Sunday or Monday.

Today I am fashionably riding my bike through my neighborhood! So, I am wearing an old Jean dress with a cute pink and brown canvas belt I found and white lacey leggings with Nine West flip-flops and a clip twisted into my hair.

I was going to see Vampires Suck, bbut refrained... it got HORRENDOUS reviews and is very innapropriate, much to my dismay! I was hoping it would just be funny. My biggest disappointment, though, was not getting to wear my HarryPotterSupport clothing! I was going to wear a velvet cape with a black Lacoste Izod, plus gray leggings and Clairborne loafers. Fun, right? I was devastated!

Back to the 80's

Lately i am tired of getting up in the morning and having to rifle through my closet only to be knocked over by my mountain of clothes ,so my friends i have painstakingly torn through my beloved t-shirts and purged. Not only that but i have also innovated with my endless pile of T's. It is very 80's i know but i have cut off the ,neh trimmed the sleeves ripped the neckline and ,again trimmed the bottom. with over half of my things, it is great, and i don't see i very much these days. I am not going to pretend i made up the trend ,but in tiny Ridgefield i am how they say "bringing it back."

Plaid Plaid ............................PLAID! do excuse my enthusiasm its just i have waited two years for plaid to come back "in" it's not that i wouldn't have worn it if it wasn't but i just can't find a place where i like there plaids or it's affordable. Now it is like i am seeing it every where forever 21, Burberry (duh) ,holister/abercrombie and many more. I don't know about you but i am so sick of those harsh neon checks that you see today , what happened to old English plaids that simply worked with whatever you put them with? I kid you not ,this not so new trend is something to scope out.
