Now when most people think of hand me downs they think of a old pair of jeans courtesy of your older sister. Now hold on ,wait a minute .................. why do hand me downs have to be such a bad thing ? when in fact ,all you fashioinistas out there strive to be different ,to not blend with the crowd right? well i know none else will have shoes from your mom or a vintage pin from your grandma, hence a statement. Now coming from a family with two brothers i don't get hand me downs so you might question this post coming from me , you might ask "well she doesn't even have to wear hand me downs , she's lucky" well no actually i am jealous. a pair of jeans from a friend or a family member with tons of memories in them is more significant then brand new ones (which are great to make memories on ,yourself). Don't get me wrong i love new things but i love old things too.

Now this is great... I LOVE getting hand-me-downs. The other day, I had a sailor-tribute outfit. I wore a second-hand American eagle navy polo from my neighbor, Gabby, navy/white from my cousin in Germany, and ballet flats from my aupairs friend! It was the point to my outfit, and I thought it was really cool!
